HISTORY Ring

A sculptural sterling silver ring built from two contrasting surfaces — one more defined, the other softened and eroded, as if they had aged at different speeds.

The result is a ring that feels less manufactured than discovered: irregular, time-worn and impossible to reproduce exactly.

Why it stands apart

HISTORY is built around contrast rather than symmetry. One side remains sharper and more structured; the other appears partially dissolved. The transition between them is intentionally uneven, giving the surface the character of an object altered by time rather than simply finished by hand.

It is designed as a contemporary artifact — a statement ring for someone who wants a piece that does not look mass-produced or conventionally polished.

The idea

The form reflects accumulation, erosion and transformation. Two surfaces that seem to come from different moments are brought into one object, where imbalance becomes the defining structure.

The texture is not decorative. It is part of the construction of the ring itself — blurred edges, worn transitions and an oxidized surface that changes subtly from piece to piece.

Material: 925 Sterling Silver
Finish: Volcanic oxidation

The darkened surface is created using volcanic sulfur collected during our journey in Indonesia. Each ring is individually handcrafted to order, so small differences in texture and oxidation are part of the piece rather than imperfections.

A temporal artifact — defined by change, surface and structure.

Personalisation

If you like our handwritten font (example in the product card), you can leave your initials or a secret word inside the ring. Just leave them in the "engraving" line before adding the product to the cart. Please note that this service is available for a maximum of five characters.

All your items will be sent in a unique author's packaging in the form of a large stone and safely packed in a mailbox marked “FRAGILE”

Atelier "Project50g" works to order according to the individual measurements of the client, we do not have anything in stock. In this regard, the production time directly depends on the current demand and takes 3-5 weeks.

Mikhail makes all orders manually, individually for each person.  He tries to process orders as quickly as possible.  We hope for your understanding.

We will update you as our work progresses and when ready we will send you a photo for approval.
