PORTRAIT Ring

A wide signet ring with a hidden imprint.


The surface combines rough stone-like texture with softened, molten transitions.

The relief shifts between sharp and fluid, creating depth and contrast within one form.

At the center, a subtle imprint emerges —

a portrait that is not immediately visible, but revealed through attention and light.

The image refers to a historical figure — a woman connected with the resistance during the Napoleonic era.

Not a direct depiction, but a trace embedded into the surface.

The composition recalls worn medallions and relief fragments preserved in museum collections, where time partially conceals the image but does not erase it.

A handcrafted sterling silver signet ring with textured surface and hidden portrait.

An oxidized silver ring shaped as a contemporary artifact, defined by surface, imprint and depth.

An unusual ring defined by texture, image and perception.


Sterling Silver 925 \ Volcanic oxidation

Top width: 14–15 mm

Side width: 10–11 mm

The surface is oxidized using volcanic sulfur collected during our journey in Indonesia.

Each ring is made to order and individually handcrafted.

No two pieces are identical.


The portrait can be removed upon request.

Initials or a short engraving may be added inside.

All items are made of Sterling Silver (925) with volcanic oxidation🌋

We use the US ring sizing system.

The best way to find out your size is to visit a local jewelry store.

You’ll find a conversion chart and detailed sizing tips for both rings and bracelets here — please refer to them when choosing your size.

Personalisation

If you like our handwritten font (example in the product card), you can leave your initials or a secret word inside the ring. Just leave them in the "engraving" line before adding the product to the cart. Please note that this service is available for a maximum of five characters.

Packaging

All your items will be sent in a unique author's packaging in the form of a large stone and safely packed in a mailbox marked “FRAGILE”

Atelier "Project50g" works to order according to the individual measurements of the client, we do not have anything in stock. In this regard, the production time directly depends on the current demand and takes 3-5 weeks.

Mikhail makes all orders manually, individually for each person.  He tries to process orders as quickly as possible.  We hope for your understanding.

We will update you as our work progresses and when ready we will send you a photo for approval.
