BAZILIKA Ring

Ancient echoes cast in silver

A sculptural form emerging from stone.

The face appears as if preserved within the surface,

partially revealed,

as though uncovered rather than created.

The band extends into vertical lines,

recalling fluted architectural elements —

like columns shaped by time and pressure.

These lines are not decorative.

They follow the structure,

giving direction and weight to the form.

The reference traces back to the Basilica Cistern —

an underground reservoir built in the 6th century beneath Constantinople.

A space supported by hundreds of columns,

where water, stone and shadow coexist.

Fragments of earlier cultures remain there —

including the Medusa heads,

reused and recontextualized within the structure.

This layering of history is reflected in the ring:

not as a literal image,

but as a preserved presence.

The surface is oxidized using volcanic sulfur collected during our journey in Indonesia.

Each ring is made to order and formed as a unique piece.

Personalisation

If you like our handwritten font (example in the product card), you can leave your initials or a secret word inside the ring. Just leave them in the "engraving" line before adding the product to the cart. Please note that this service is available for a maximum of five characters.

Packaging

All your items will be sent in a unique author's packaging in the form of a large stone and safely packed in a mailbox marked “FRAGILE”
