The dilapidated texture of the ring symbolizes time and eternity, allowing us to feel connected to this great past.
Each black diamond in this ring is like a grain of sand in time, reflecting the richness and grandeur of our history. And empty spaces represent lost or not yet revealed secrets of the past.
*Mari, an ancient city-state on the middle Euphrates (modern Tel Hariri, Syria). It arose at the beginning of the 3rd millennium BC.
Imagine a time when the ancient city of Mari was the center of trade and culture in the Middle East.
Its prosperity is immortalized in historical chronicles as a place where great trade routes and civilizations converged over the centuries.
It was here that archaeologists discovered ancient texts revealing the life and customs of the ancient inhabitants, their desire for beauty and grace.
Eight black diamonds (black spinel) adorn the surface of the ring and its texture, which I create by hand on metal as a finishing touch.
