Nar Heart Ring

- textured signet ring with 24k gold plated, artisan pattern and natural red garnet

The design of this ring combines the jewelry traditions and architectural motifs of the ancient East and antiquity. A deep-red rectangular garnet is set in a silver bezel with a gold frame, decorated with an engraving reminiscent of dentil — a rhythmic tooth-like ornament originating from ancient Greek and Roman architecture. Once the visible ends of wooden beams supporting temple roofs, this pattern later became a symbol of strength and craftsmanship, carved in stone.

In ancient jewelry, such a toothed border served as a protective frame, surrounding and safeguarding the most precious stones. Here, this role is given to a natural garnet sourced from Indonesia. Only a few such stones were found, each with its own unique hue, inner play of light, and a one-of-a-kind hand-cut faceting.

The 18k gold plating is applied in a thin layer, allowing the ring to develop a noble patina over time, with gold remaining in the recesses of the pattern — just like on historical artifacts.

All pieces are oxidized with volcanic sulfur we collected from the Ijen volcano crater in Indonesia, making each ring truly unique.
