FORTUNA Bracelet

Artisan Sterling Silver Bracelet with Natural Pearl, Volcanic Oxidation and Historical Imprints

Fragments of history, assembled into a bracelet.

FORTUNA began with the modular construction of ancient Etruscan belts — articulated forms built from a sequence of decorated metal plaques.

Each link was individually sculpted by hand in natural beeswax. While the wax was still soft, its surface became a composition of impressions taken from objects we have collected throughout our travels: fragments found at flea markets, an Indian coin, an Afghan bead, a detail from an old knife sheath, and other small discoveries from different places and cultures.

The impressions are not reproduced as complete motifs. Several fragments can meet within a single link, overlapping and becoming part of a new composition. The repeated marks along the edges are one of the few elements connecting the links, while no two surfaces are alike.

This idea of chance discovery is also behind the name FORTUNA — a reference to fortune and to the unexpected objects that continue to find their way into our work as we travel.

The original wax forms were cast in sterling silver and finished with our volcanic oxidation, bringing depth to the relief and emphasizing every irregular trace left by hand and by the objects pressed into the wax.

Among the darkened silver sits a single natural pearl from Vietnam — a quiet, luminous contrast to the weathered surfaces around it.

The bracelet is finished with a rotating clasp designed by Mikhail Savchenkov. Its mechanism uses the changing thickness of the connecting element to secure the hook after rotation, allowing the clasp to remain visually integrated into the bracelet rather than appearing as separate hardware.

FORTUNA is not a reconstruction of the past. It is a contemporary artifact composed from fragments that continue to travel with us.

SIZING

Each bracelet is individually made to your measurements. Simply choose your wrist circumference and preferred fit when placing your order.

Snug Fit – sits close to the wrist with very little movement.

Comfortable Fit – our standard fit, allowing the bracelet to move naturally while remaining secure.

Loose Fit – provides more freedom of movement and a more relaxed look.

Please don’t measure the length of another bracelet — it may lead to mistakes. Always measure your actual wrist, close to the skin, but without pulling too tight.
