HISTORY Ring

Processing: Volcanic oxidation + polishing

HISTORY is an open silver ring with a blurred, time-worn texture — a surface that feels altered rather than decorated. Its form creates the illusion of two different objects joined in one, as if shaped by different forces or moments in time.

The ring reflects the way history works: layers accumulate, edges soften, contrasts emerge. What is exposed to time does not simply fade — it transforms. Cracks, erosion, and imbalance become part of a new, complete form. Two sides of a single whole. Or a continuous cycle, where destruction and perfection coexist.

This duality is embedded in the texture itself — one side more defined, the other worn and indistinct — like an artifact that has passed through centuries, carrying traces of use, loss, and preservation.

Each piece is finished using volcanic oxidation with natural sulfur collected during our travels in Indonesia. This process enhances depth and irregularity, ensuring that every ring bears a unique imprint of time and cannot be exactly repeated.

HISTORY offers a comfortable fit and works both as a standalone piece and in combination with other rings. It does not dominate — it resonates quietly, becoming a subtle but meaningful accent.

Every ring is made to order in your size. Exact replication is impossible: proportions and character remain, but each piece is formed individually, exclusively for its wearer.

All items are made of Sterling Silver (925) with volcanic oxidation🌋

We use the US ring sizing system.

The best way to find out your size is to visit a local jewelry store.

You’ll find a conversion chart and detailed sizing tips for both rings and bracelets here — please refer to them when choosing your size.

Personalisation

If you like our handwritten font (example in the product card), you can leave your initials or a secret word inside the ring. Just leave them in the "engraving" line before adding the product to the cart. Please note that this service is available for a maximum of five characters.

Packaging

All your items will be sent in a unique author's packaging in the form of a large stone and safely packed in a mailbox marked “FRAGILE”

Atelier "Project50g" works to order according to the individual measurements of the client, we do not have anything in stock. In this regard, the production time directly depends on the current demand and takes 3-5 weeks.

Mikhail makes all orders manually, individually for each person.  He tries to process orders as quickly as possible.  We hope for your understanding.

We will update you as our work progresses and when ready we will send you a photo for approval.
